JerseyQuinn's weed journey

I love me some weed. But I was straight edge up until about 5 yrs ago. When I first moved to Philly, my husband & I would visit different bars to get a vibe of the city night life. I ended up working at a distillery for a while, which was fun & tiresome. But I had tried it a few times over a couple years with no affect on me. I tried vapes, pre rolls, edibles, & butters because I'm nothing if not determined to win. This was a challenge meant for me to thoroughly succeed.

My preferred methods are edibles & vapes. Edibles I can get predictable dosing using gummies. Vapes are an immediate mood booster & is extremely short term, which I like. I prefer being high for a set period of the day rather than all day or over a few days. I've had edible experiences where I've eaten too many cookies & was decommissioned for a couple days. Fun, but highly impractical for my desired lifestyle.

I had one instance where I left an embarrassing VM to basically a stranger. That was the first time weed worked for me. I had an edible at a friend's house & was laying upside down on the couch staring at my phone. The edible lasted about an hour before I could get my bearings. But once I flipped myself upright I felt incredibly soft & luxurious like a new sweater. Which I did give someone the sweater off my back. Why?! Because I have heated seats & I was going to my car. I love luxury... Within reason.

I've been more relaxed overall & able to do activities that inspire me. I'm going to be using that energy to create music over the winter. I'm gonna be reading, writing stories, & playing piano. I also want to sing, even though I'm terrified of what I might say. When you say things aloud, they become real & music has never felt real or tangible to me. I guess the wait is over. Time to fail & fail & recover from my mistakes.
