My Obituary

Rest in peace.

JQ was an extraordinary woman, friend, mother, & partner. She was born February 9, 1991 in Camden, NJ to mother, S & father, K. Her had an older sister, D, who was 6 years old at that time of her birth. She spent her formidable years growing up in Clementon, NJ, a great quiet suburb, before moving to Mount Laurel, NJ in 2005. & in 2009, she graduated from high school with honors. She was academically successful including courses on Latin I/II, Spanish AP, literature/creative writing, & photography. Though not a very popular student, she always had a few close friends throughout her school life, including H, Kr, Ki, Te, Jo.

She was a stubborn, yet charming child, who was very sensitive to whom was around her. Most of her childhood memories included her sister, her younger brother T, her cousins: Di, Y, Ky, Z, & Do. She spent her adolescence admiring her father & uncles, who had spent many years in the military. She enjoyed sneaking up on people, surprising people with gifts, & learning spy tradecraft that she could use in her daily life. Some of her regular skills were keeping track of time sans clock, knowing cardinal directions, & getting people to confide in her. She made even more friends at University of Delaware, during their high school summer program & increased her social skills there as well.

Alas, she worked successfully to get early acceptance into nursing school with scholarships at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Within a few weeks, she met J in 2009 & a year later, she married him while living in North Jersey. With her spouse at her side, she birthed 3 children: F, W, & N. Together, they lived in North Jersey for a few years, before deciding to establish home in Philadelphia, PA to be closer to family. She had a very contentious relationship with her mother over the course of several years, but was previously close to her sister, her niece, B, & her best friend M & M's family.

She had been a stay-at-home mom for a couple years, while completing her Bachelor's degree in Business & Technology (2015), & getting her Master's degree in Administrative Science (2017). JQ purchased her family home in 2018 in Philadelphia, her favorite American city. For the next few years, she proceeded to work in the pharmacy, woodworking/antique salvage, & local TV station before leaving to pursue her dream of entrepreneurship. In 2022, she started her own company as a Content Creator & Twitch streamer. JQ very much enjoyed music, her dogs, fashion, self-expression, road trips, & strengthening her queer identity & sexuality. She was brave, powerful, loud, & energetic; & now she is reborn as JerseyQuinn.
