Sexy Lexophile is a Well-Read Woman

I have already read 4 (& a half) books so far this year! My goal for the year is twelve & I'm excited to learn more about various celebrities via memoirs, sexual wellness guidance, black history & activism, & more. I've realized I have the luxury of treating all aspects of my life like a job; I spend 5 hours per week studying a new language. (Yes, watching Love Island Albania counts as studying.) I spend 2 hours a week dancing & I start most mornings with a workout of various yoga & Pilates moves. I'm acting on my impulses more & more, so long as they move me towards being fulfilled.
I've been letting my instincts decide how to better spend my time & feeling like a Sim left unattended for a little too long. Speaking of which, I've been playing The Sims 4 for hours/day at a time, comfortable be re-obsessed with the game all over again. Playing it really helps my self-esteem. Though I already think very highly of myself, my gameplay as Jersey Quinn reminds me to reassess my goals from time to time & make sure I'm actively taking steps towards them. It also reinforces that surprises, death, & chaos happen & can still lead to a story with a mutually satisfying ending.
I wrote a letter to someone from my past who probably doesn't remember me & I wanted to send it. I want to tell him all the things I couldn't vocalize before because I didn't have the wherewithal. I know this person is living a completely different life now, so hopefully there's love & adventure & contentment in this person's life. I got high & burned the letter because I needed to mourn the loss of friends. Not everyone is meant to be in your life forever & I'm only thinking about the past because I need to manage my socialization. I'm gonna try to make a new friend this year, someone charming, intellectual, emotionally intelligent, & neurospicy. I'm a well-read, well-rounded (& curvy) woman & I'm gonna reconnect to the world via 1 human being. Who will be my next best friend? #JerseyQuinnsNextBestFriend #BaddieAndBestie
Would love some good book suggestions!
